What’s Dirt?


 ”It stands for Design Integrated Resistance Training,” says Kelli Musa, who created the unique exercise program three years ago with co-owner Anna Delgado.

“At DIRT Fitness, we build bodies from the ground up. We’re a 40-minute group fitness program that promises not to disappoint.” Musa explains. “We move the body in the kind of motions its meant to moves in. Our program focuses on core strength. Whether you are 15 or 50 , correcting  postural imbalance is of the utmost importance.”

“We promise 40 minutes, 700 calories,” Musa says, “but clients have been known to burn more than that.” The DIRT Fitness routine also promotes Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC). “One of the benefits of the intensity level at DIRT is that your body goes into the state of EPOC, so you will continue to burn calories up to 36 hours after the workout.”

“We train in a high intensity environment pushing clients to their personal best. We pride ourselves on a ‘come to complete and not to compete’ environment,” Musa says.

DIRT Fitness also boasts incredible yoga classes, Riding Dirty cycling, and soon to come DIRT Barre classes.

“We’re not just a fitness facility,” Musa says. “DIRT is a lifestyle. You receive a body-fat analysis, nutritional counseling and guaranteed results.” DIRT Fitness is the only fitness studio in Boca Raton to offer Gluten Free/Kosher meal plans.
After a year in a 1400-square-foot space, DIRT Fitness is about to expand to 4,000 square feet in the Village Del Mar plaza.
