1. What kind of exercises are incorporated in DIRT classes?
Exercises include push ups, pull ups, kettlebell moves, plyometric box jumps, burpees, and almost every exercise engages core. We use equipment such as free weights, pull up bars, kettlebells, medicine and Dynamax balls, resistance bands, TRX, ViPR, Indo-row, Keiser M3 cycles, Bosu balls, plyometric boxes, and any other equipment that engages the whole body as a one unit.
2. How fast can I see results?
One can see results in as little as 2 weeks! That’s right, the body trains at such a high intensity that you can actually burn more than 700 calories a class. Even post-exercise, (EPOC: Excess Exercise Post Oxygen Consumption), your body can be burning calories at a higher rate for 24-36 hours even after exercise!
3. I’m very overweight, and never worked out before, is the DIRT class right for me?
Absolutely! We welcome all fitness levels. Many of our current clients are overweight, and have seen great results. We can modify any exercise.
4. What do I need to bring to DIRT class?
Bring a bottle of water and towel and yourself..:)
5. What if I have a pre-existing injury?
As long as you tell the instructor of your pre-existing injuries, then we can modify any exercises to accommodate your needs.
6. What happens if it rains or if I miss a class?
Class is NEVER cancelled, rain or shine, we use indoor and outdoor. If you miss a class we have over 35 classes a week that you can choose from.
